Blinn's Call of Duty team goes 1-1 in NJCAAE, NACE tilts

The Blinn College esports Call of Duty team split two matches Monday night.

The Buccaneers battled Hutchinson Community College in an NJCAA Esports tilt and earned a 3-2 victory in a best-of-five series.

Blinn later fell to Irvine Valley College 3-0 in a National Association of Collegiate Esports Varsity Premier (NACE) matchup.

Against Hutchinson, Blinn assistant coach Ryan Lucich said each of his four competitors "stepped up and shined" throughout the series.
