"Fisher showed a lot of weaknesses in our team play, so we have a lot to work on, but overall I am not upset with the loss," Blinn assistant coach Kyle Murto said. "We played well, and we are definitely going to learn a lot from the match. Our match against Oregon was a really strong showing from us. I was a little worried about how our mental state would be going into the match, but all of our players pushed the loss aside and we were able to pick up a solid win."
On Friday, the Overwatch team defeated Guilford Technical Community College 3-0 in an NJCAA Esports match. Competing for Blinn were Ezekial Bernheim, Langridge, Hutchings, and Behney.
Overwatch will battle against Toronto Metropolitan University at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
