The Blinn College esports team swept Colorado College in a three-round Overwatch match Tuesday.
Blinn assistant coach Kyle Murto, who oversees the Overwatch squad, called the Buccaneers' first win of their National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) slate a "dominant" victory.

Competing for the Bucs were sophomores Gabriel Lopez, William Bowman, William Rossley, George Francis, and Aaron Lazo.
Blinn's overwatch team resumes its season with a match against St. Ambrose College at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13. The Buccaneer Super Smash Bros team will also compete Thursday, with a 7:30 p.m. tilt against the University of Guam.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
