Blinn men’s soccer player Farit Ha earns all-region honors

Blinn College men's soccer player Farit Ha (Houston) earned Region XIV honors after leading the region in shots, goals, and points.

The sophomore played in 17 games and scored 17 goals, tallied 36 points, took 46 shots, and recorded two assists. He finished the season with a .630 shots on goal percentage and led Blinn with a .370 shooting percentage.

"Farit is very deserving of this all-region honor because not only was he the leading scorer in the region, but we was the leading scorer playing as a winger," said Michael McBride, Blinn head coach. "He had an unbelievable season and I am very proud of what he accomplished on the field and the contributions he made to our team."

Blinn finished the season with a program-best 10-7-1 overall record. The Buccaneers claimed a spot in the NJCAA Region XIV Men's Soccer Championship Tournament as the No. 3 seed with a 9-4-1 conference record. Their season concluded with a 5-4 loss to Angelina College in the quarterfinals.
