BRENHAM, Texas – Freshman forward Rashaun Stimage posted a double-double and freshman point guard Donald Moore scored 17 points in his Buccaneer debut as the Blinn College men's basketball team defeated Kingwood College 101-75 Monday at the Blinn P.E. Building.
Stimage scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He just missed a triple-double, recording eight blocks on the evening.
Moore made his debut after missing the Buccaneers' first five games with a wrist injury. He finished with five assists in addition to his 17 points.
Sophomore T.J. Berry added 13 as the Buccaneers took a 49-43 lead by halftime.
Blinn (3-3) made 21 of 25 free throws in the game.
The Buccaneers will host Victoria College at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Blinn P.E. Building.
