The Blinn College esports team fell just short in an Overwatch match to Westchester Community College on Friday.
Westchester, the 2021 fall semester Overwatch national championship runner-up, defeated the Buccaneers 3-2.
Competing for Blinn were Gabe Lopez, William Rossley, Josh Manning, Pierce Ray, George Francis, and Cesar Chogoya.

The Blinn Overwach squad will look to bounce back when it takes on Florida Gateway College at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
Blinn also battles Western Technical College in Valorant play at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 31.
