The Blinn College esports Rocket League team swept Midwestern State University 3-0 Monday night.

Team members for Blinn were John Warden, Ezekiel Sedgwick, and Tanner James. With the win, Blinn improved to 2-1 in Rocket League competition this season.

Blinn's Valorant team continues play tonight in the West Open Qualifier. Blinn won best-of-three matches Sunday against Texas A&M Academy White and San Jose State University.

Blinn, which launched its esports program in 2020, is a member of the National Association of College Esports. It competes against two-year colleges and four-year universities. Blinn is one of the few community colleges in the region that offers esports scholarships.
