Blinn falls to Northeast Texas in Region XIV matchup

The Blinn College women's soccer team fell to Northeast Texas Community College, 2-1, in a Region XIV matchup Wednesday in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

The Buccaneers are now 4-6 overall and 3-6 in conference play.

Blinn led the match 1-0, but Northeast Texas rallied for the victory on a pair of penalty kicks.

"To go up a goal and give up the lead is heartbreaking," Buccaneers head coach Alexandria Jackson said. "We have to be able to finish a game."
