The Blinn College baseball team was defeated by San Jacinto College-North 12-0 in a Region XIV South matchup Thursday at Fireman's Park in Brenham.

Gators pitcher Hunter Hollan tossed a five-inning perfect game.

The pitcher of record for the Buccaneers (12-25 overall, 8-15 Region XIV South) was Evan Aschenbeck. The left-hander worked 4 2/3 innings before Ryan Young got the final out of the fifth frame.

Blinn and San Jacinto complete their four-game series this weekend with a doubleheader scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, in Houston.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
