The Blinn College Buccaneer Backer Club will host its annual golf tournament Friday, Oct. 20, at Bellville Country Club, with proceeds benefitting the Blinn College athletic department.

The four-person scramble kicks off with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., and includes one round of golf with a cart included, lunch at noon, hole prizes, and a putting contest.

The full field will consist of 10 paid teams. Entry is $75 for Buccaneer Backer Club members and $100 for non-members. Hole sponsorship is $100, and there will be an opportunity to win $10,000 for a hole in one. Cash and checks will be accepted and checks should be payable to the Buccaneer Backer Club.

The Buccaneer Backer Club was formed to raise financial support and awareness for all the athletic programs at Blinn College. A modest contribution of $100 helps the Buccaneer Backers provide aid in funding postseason travel, equipment, and facility upgrades
