Blinn College Athletics to host Basketball Skills Academy

The Blinn College Athletic Department will host a Basketball Skills Academy for boys grades 9-12 over the month of October.  

The academy is made up of eight 6:30-7:30 p.m. sessions that will be held Sunday, Oct. 1; Thursday, Oct. 5; Sunday, Oct. 8; Thursday, Oct. 12; Sunday, Oct. 15; Wednesday, Oct. 18; Sunday, Oct. 22; and Sunday, Oct. 29 in the P.E. Building at the Blinn College-Brenham Campus.

The academy will cover various skills to elevate players' games to the next level, including shooting mechanics, proper footwork, NBA signature moves, dribbling and handling pressure, passing and catching.

The academy is limited to the first 25 players who register at http://buccaneersports.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/files/Basketball_Skills_Academy.pdf for the cost of $200.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 36 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
