Blinn ends season with SWJCFC road loss to Kilgore

The Blinn College football team ended its season with a 51-14 Southwest Junior College Football Conference road loss to Kilgore College on Saturday in Kilgore, Texas.

The Buccaneers finished their season with a 3-6 overall record and a 1-6 conference mark.

The Rangers built a 28-0 halftime lead and led 34-0 heading into the fourth quarter.

Sophomore quarterback Hayes Gibson got the Bucs on the board in the fourth period with a pair of passing touchdowns. He threw scoring strikes to sophomore wide receiver Cameron Richardson and freshman wideout Troy Oliver.

Hayes finished the game 13 of 30 for 144 yards, two TDs, and two interceptions. Oliver had a team-high 71 receiving yards.

Sophomore defensive back Ben Osueke intercepted his first pass of the season for the Blinn defense.
