The Blinn Buccaneer baseball team signed six players, four pitchers, to its 2015 roster.

- Justin Penney, RHP, Lehman High School

"This year we were really focusing on quality than quantity," Blinn coach Harvey McIntyre said. "Last year we lost so many players who we had to replace. This year, it's a relatively small group."
Because of a scheduling change this season, the coaching staff focused more heavily on recruting pitchers. This season, the Region XIV Conference is going to a four-game conference series with doubleheaders on Thursdays and Saturdays rather than a three-game series played in the past.
"With that schedule, you can never have enough pitching depth," McIntyre said. "We still have a little bit to finish up. We'd like to get two more outfielders and two more pitchers."
