No. 9 Blinn College football falls to Cisco

CISCO, Texas — No. 9 Blinn College football (5-2, 3-2) fell to Cisco College by the score of 71-28 on Saturday night. 

The Buccaneers scored all of their points in the opening quarter as Daveon Boyd led the offense with three touchdown passes. Boyd connected with Danny Gray, Corey Smith and Keric Wheatfall in the end zone for touchdowns. Carlos Grace scored Blinn's only rushing touchdown. 

The Buccaneers fell behind 56-28 at the half and were outscored 15-0 in the second half for a 71-28 final. 

Next, the Buccaneers will return home for the Homecoming game against No. 14 Kilgore College on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 38 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
