"We played hard and it is great to be 8-0 in conference," said Terry Gamble, Blinn head coach. "It is really special and I am excited for the girls because they deserve all the credit."

After winning seven straight, the Buccaneers hold a 27-7 overall record. Tonight's game marked the final night in the Kruse Center this season as the Buccaneers celebrated the sophomore night.

"The sophomores mean so much to the team and to me because they have led this team," Gamble said. "Our sophomore class is going to be extremely missed after our season is over."

Sophomore setters Samantha Boatman and Roxanne Morris combined for 35 assists, while Boatman recorded nine digs and Morris recorded eight kills.

"Winning this game meant a lot to us and it feels really good to go undefeated in conference," Boatman said. "We are now in really good position moving into the postseason."
