Fourth-ranked Buccaneers capture season’s 20th victory

The fourth-ranked Blinn College volleyball team captured its 20th victory of the season Friday with a 3-0 sweep of Trinity Valley Community College.

The Buccaneers won 25-8, 25-14, 25-22 behind a team-high 16 kills from Rebecca Reeve.

Jaeda Allen added seven kills and 16 digs and Rachel Sharp added six kills and four blocks.

Setter Jordyn Keamo dished out 30 assists and Alyssa LaMont added four digs while Tawnee Luafalemana finished with a team-high four blocks.

Now on a five-match win streak, the Buccaneers are set to host San Jacinto College at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Blinn P.E. Building.
