Jeff Jenkins enters his 21st season as head coach of the Blinn College women’s basketball program in 2022-23.

Jenkins' 416-219 record at Blinn makes him the winningest coach in program history. In 24 seasons as a collegiate head coach, Jenkins holds a 469-257 overall record (.646 winning percentage).

Jenkins earned his 400th career victory as head coach of the Buccaneers with an 80-76 victory over Panola College on Dec. 7, 2021.

Blinn finished the 2021 fall season ranked 17th in the nation after posting a 28-5 overall record while winning its first Region XIV regular-season title with a 14-4 mark, an honor it shared with Trinity Valley Community College. The Buccaneers went on to win the Region XIV Tournament and earned a first-round bye in the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship in Lubbock, Texas.

Jenkins was selected Region XIV Coach of the Year for 2022, the fifth time he has received that accolade.

Blinn freshman guard Telisha Brown was named an NJCAA Division I second-team All-American and committed to Lamar University. Tullis was also named the Region XIV Tournament MVP and was a first-team all-region selection alongside teammate and freshman forward Tiffany Tullis.

Jenkins celebrated his 400th career win in 21 seasons as a head coach when the Buccaneers defeated Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Nov. 2, 2019. In addition, the Blinn women’s basketball team was named a 2019-2020 NJCAA Academic Team of the Year for posting a 3.25 GPA.

His 2012-13 squad recorded the program's best season ever, going 32-4 and reaching the Elite Eight of the NJCAA National Championship. Blinn's tournament bid was just the second in program history and its first since 1989. The Buc' victories over Kaskaskia and Darton marked the first tournament wins in program history. At season's end, Jenkins was recognized as the Region XIV Conference Coach of the Year for the third time in his career.

Jenkins spent three years at Paris Junior College before coming to Blinn in 2002.
