Buccaneers stay undefeated by downing Jacksonville, 5-2

JACKSONVILLE, Texas — Blinn College men's soccer (2-0, 2-0) remains undefeated this season after taking down the Jacksonville College Cougars, 5-2, in a conference game on Thursday night.

"We put ourselves in a tricky situation to begin the game, but the fact that we were resilient and tied it up going into halftime showed our character," said Jorden Smith, Blinn head coach. "We finally got settled in and then the flood gates opened up and there was no stopping us."

Although the Buccaneers fell behind 2-0 after the Cougars scored in the 4th and 22nd minutes, Blinn evened the score by the half.
