Blinn College football debuts on NJCAA rankings at No. 14

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Blinn College football team made its debut on the NJCAA football rankings released on Tuesday by the NJCAA Football Committee.

The Buccaneers are ranked No. 14 after defeating Navarro College, 27-12, on Saturday, Sept. 9. Navarro was ranked No. 10, but dropped out of the rankings following the loss.

The Buccaneers are undefeated with a 2-0 record after picking up a win over Cisco College to start the season. Next, Blinn will face No. 3 Trinity Valley on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Other Region XIV conference teams appearing in this week's rankings include No. 7 Tyler and No. 15 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, while Navarro received votes.
